Turkey Tail is a colorful bracket fungus named for the concentric bands that resemble the fanned tail of a wild turkey. It has a long history of traditional use, particularly across East Asia.
Turkey Tail continues to draw scientific interest for its naturally occurring polysaccharides and beta-glucans, including compounds studied for their interactions with the immune system and gut microbiome.
